This guide will tell you how to use your new charger and how to set up and use the ESi Go app, including how to schedule and take advantage of special rate energy tariffs.

This guide will tell you how to use your new charger and how to set up and use the ESi Go app, including how to schedule and take advantage of special rate energy tariffs.

Installation

Your new ESi EVone Charger must be installed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with current electrical engineering codes of practice, requirements for electrical installations (BS7671) and all statutory requirements. Your electrician should fill out and give you the Smart Charge Act Statement of Compliance when the install is completed. Please keep this document safe, as you may need it to provide evidence of a compliant Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) installation.

Simply set up your electricity tariff via the app to charge your car at the most cost-effective times.

The charger will wait to charge your EV at the cheapest tarif

Unplug the cable from your EV and GO!

Get started with the EVone app

  • 1. Sign up and create a personal account
  • 2. Agree to terms of service and ‘Sign up’
  • 3. Enter the verification code you receive by SMS
  • 4. Congratulations, your account is set up

Connect your new charger and WiFi connection

  • 5. Create a ‘family’ or user group for your charger
  • 6. Press the BOOST button on the charger or hold your RFID tag up to the charger (if you have an RFID model), until you see a single yellow light flashing.
  • 7. Enter your WiFi name and password
